Bio

Born and raised in Nashville, Lars started playing music at age six. First learning fiddle and later adding mandolin and guitar, he studied with local Nashville players, including Tracy Silverman and Regi Wooten, while playing in bands at bars and clubs around town. After studying violin performance and songwriting at Berklee College of Music, Lars returned home to Nashville to pursue music professionally. In his first years working in the Nashville scene he played with a number of artists in clubs, on radio and promo tours, and many festivals. In that time he also began working in recording studios as both a player and a producer, being involved in a number of independent releases.

In 2018 Lars began touring in Kane Brown’s band. Since then, he has performed in arenas, stadiums, and festivals across North America, Australia, and parts of Europe, on holiday specials, late night, and award shows, and the 2020 NFL Thanksgiving halftime show. He has also performed in concert and on broadcasted shows for a wide range of artists including Colbie Caillat, Kelly Clarkson, Chris Lane, Nelly, and others. As a studio musician, he has played on several major label releases for artists including Tyler Hubbard, Kane Brown, and Granger Smith, accruing credits on RIAA certified gold and platinum records and number one country radio singles. Today, Lars continues to tour for Kane Brown as well as spending more time in studio writing and producing alongside his playing.
